Donald R. Mann has served as a member of the Board of Directors of United Texas Credit Union since 2010. Following the merger of United Texas Credit Union with Alliance Credit Union in 2026, Don continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Alliance Credit Union, bringing more than 16 years of credit union leadership and a lifetime of experience in business, technology, and management. After attending Lamar University, Don served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Following his military service, he began a career as an engineer with several major computer companies, eventually advancing into management. Those years gave him a strong foundation in technology, leadership, and the importance of finding practical solutions to complex problems. In 1993, Don took the next step in his career by founding his own company in San Antonio, Texas. The company provided Information Technology and Audio/Visual solutions to businesses, Texas State government, and the United States Military. Don led the company until his retirement in 2011. Don has always valued the opportunity to build relationships, solve problems, and serve others. That same philosophy has carried into his years of credit union service. He believes strongly in the cooperative nature of credit unions and the importance of putting members first while maintaining sound financial management and responsible leadership. Don is proud of the many years he has been able to serve credit union members and is pleased to continue that service as part of the Alliance Credit Union Board of Directors.
